The car is made specifically for Americans, and they prefer everything big. It is clear that climbing into the salon without the help of a footboard is a little difficult, but it is spacious here to the impossibility. This is where the expanse: you can live in the literal sense of the word, only the bath is not enough. Leather chairs of excellent quality hands are pleasant.
The supple plastic in combination with rich inserts made of natural wood perfectly complements the interior. But the main thing is all the details are adjusted to each other as it should. In a word, the salon is groomed. An impressive set of all kinds of exceptionally pleasant gizmos such as separate climate control, electric drives with memory, rear-view chambers. About all kinds of music and conversation there. The rear passengers of the DVD player with a 7-inch monitor. There is no time to watch behind the wheel. There is also a liquid crystal monitor, but for other purposes in it you can, for example, consider the navigation card or observe the road when moving in reversing. It is a pity that in our not very clean edges, after a hundred passed miles, video eyes hidden in the back door will have to be wiped with a rag. But let's not about sad.
The interior of the car is trying to delight the driver and passengers with every trifle. Comfort at the highest level. Optronic scales arising from darkness, branded oval strokes, creating an expensive atmosphere infiniti. Just with these details, the QX56 interior from the related Nissan Armada, which gave it everything both the chassis and the engine, differs. But this luxurious SUV received a good base.
Despite the frame design, QX has an independent front and rear (multi -leaf) pendants with reptile stability stabilizers. Such a solution is extremely rarely found on full -sized frame jeeps. From here is noticeably less than the buildup. A more stringent European chassis, of course, has a beneficial effect on controllability. But most importantly, QX inherited the famous Nissan all-wheel drive (although the US market is also provided for monopyle versions) and a 5.6-liter motor motor.
The drive, as they say, is the most real. Using a hefty switch, the driver selects the desired mode. Highway cut only the rear bridge. On dry asphalt, the car will fly easily and, I am not afraid of this word, relaxed, and even less often will have to refuel: the consumption of gasoline with one less bridge. In another position of the handle, the most practical for various weather conditions, and especially in our lane, the mode with an automatically connected front bridge when slipping the rear wheels. And finally, on the scale you can find two more options for the work of the transmission: full for off -road, when the front is connected hard, and the so -called heavy with the use of a lowering gear. Naturally, they cannot be used on the asphalt, since there is no interdicing differential in the transmission.
However, perhaps the most delicious of the fillings of Infiniti QX56 is a 5.6-liter V8. A powerful 32-valve engine was designed for large loads, for which it was equipped with a forged steel crankshaft, pistons with molybdenum coating and a specially configured intake manifold to improve craving at low speeds. What! Despite such an impressive working volume, the sound of the unit is almost a passenger, with metal notes characteristic of Japanese engines. Yes, of course, he loves to eat, however, as all Americans, the declared city consumption of 18 with something liters failed to achieve. The on -board computer did not show less than 22.
But it is especially pleasant to note that in the person of Infiniti, instead of dull aggression, there was a hint of nobility. The radiator grille and rectangular headlights played their role. By the way, the point is not only in appearance, there are many convenient devices that emphasize the status of a car. Say, the heavy fifth door of the QX is equipped with a servo, even a fragile lady with one pressing of the finger will be able to raise it, not to mention to lower. It is no less easy to control with the third series of seats, which, if necessary, also folds using two buttons. Nice, damn it! There is an immediate desire to open the doors to all.
The Russians will probably appreciate this car, and even more so its vacation price in almost a hundred thousand dollars. Competitors will have to overpay today no one wants to overpay. In a word, a solid SUV appeared on the market, equipped with the latest technology, and even a charming, like a shrek, a hero of a famous cartoon.
 
In the mid-80s, the Nissan Motor in the strictest secret began design and preparation for the production of a fundamentally new high-class car for the North American market. In 1989, the Infiniti Q45 model was presented. In the fall of 1996, an absolutely original Q45 development with an updated design and an 8-cylinder engine with a working volume of 4.1 liters appeared. At the same time, Infiniti expands its lineup, including a vehicle of high -wheel drive, all -wheel drive version of the Terrano model in it.

Finally, we also began the official sales of the Lexus LX570, which replaced LX460. As the name implies, it is equipped with a 5.7 liter engine with a capacity of 381 hp. Now the machine is equipped with a 6-speed sequential automaton (there used to be a 5-speed automatic transmission), and in addition to a constant all-wheel drive, it also has a hydraulic suspension with a clearance control system. In addition, the LX570 boasts an electronic assistant CRAWL CONTROL, which performs the functions of a cruise control, only adapted for severe conditions of off-road. Not to mention the audio system of the highest class with 19 columns and a 9-inch display for the rear passengers, satellite radio and even heating seats in all three rows. True, you will have to pay for the Lexus LX570 a million rubles more than for his classmate Infiniti QX56.
Continuous savings
The closest in spirit to QX56 is a typical American Chevrolet Tahoe. Moreover, the new generation of the car managed to get rid of brutal appearance and demonstrates large, but quite elegant forms. And from the main features of the last generation Tahoe, it is worth noting that its V-shaped 5.3-liter eight with a capacity of 235 hp. It is equipped with a system that turns off the fuel supply of half the cylinders at low loads. This ensures a noticeable fuel savings, which is quite relevant for overall engines. Otherwise, the same drive with the front bridge disconnected, like the QX56, is an equally spacious salon, however, not so luxurious, without any rear view cameras and other delights. But Tahoe for 500,000 rubles is cheaper than the Japanese.
