Infiniti develops an offensive in the Russian market. In dealerships, the medium -size G35X sedan appeared, a direct and obvious threat to the segment leaders.

In the upper part of the console, the color display of the multimedia system and the on -board computer, it is slightly drowned in the panel, which allowed to place a neatly arranged control unit with a traditional circle shape at its foot. Senior models, the sedan M and the crossover fx are the same devices, but their novelty, and they are clearly more fun. Everything is correct, in the Infiniti line of the G35 sedan and the G37 of the G37 SOPARTMENT, the youngest models, with the latest solutions.
 

It is all the more strange to see budget atavisms here. The trifling parts are essentially spoiling the overall picture. For example, rectangular black windows control keys and automatic transmission modes on the tunnel between the front seats would be more appropriate in the Nissan Navara utilitarian pickup. And in the G35X salon, and even on a bright background, they look ridiculous. Or the plastic plastic unpleasant and unpleasant to the touch, which frames the monitor of the multimedia system with the control unit. Nearby, on the steering wheel, material is found in the same color, but textured and pleasant to the touch. The armrest between the front seats, covered with brilliant gray skin, is the latter in the list of atavisms.
 

For me, the interior of the Sport version is more attractive: black plastic and inserts are not made of wood, but from aluminum. The surface of the metal is processed in a special way, the texture resembles Japanese paper of manual manufacture of Vasya. The African rosewood, of course, is not bad, but banal.
 

The salon is separated by a high tunnel (thanks to the kardan), only four will be comfortable. A pair of rear passengers received a place for legs, by standards of the class, quite a lot, the minus the ceiling presses on the top of the head, since the roof is rolling.

Therefore, the character is explosive. In the zone of low and medium turns, he is very burdened and fierce as the tachometer arrows approaching the red zone. I constantly want to twist the engine, because acceleration is very assertive. A hundred car is gaining in just 6.2 seconds. The maximum power is reached by 6800 rpm, and the moment (358 Nm) is 4800. The cut -off was installed at a high level of 7600 rpm. Plus, the engine has a good voice.
 

A five -speed machine corresponds to the power unit. Switching is fast and smooth. Even with the most active acceleration, electronics manage to switch without a blow. With a sharp transition down, the computer raises speed, accurately determining the level necessary for a smooth change of step. Moreover, in particularly hot situations, he resorts to overdose. Another advantage of automatic transmission is the presence of intelligence. The machine of the machine gun analyzes the driver’s commands, the way he treats the accelerator pedal, how it works with the brakes and how quickly the machine enters the turn. Analyzes and adapts. If the machine is in earnest, it will even smell low transfers with intense braking. The box calms down quite quickly. The automatic transmission algorithm is good in most cases in it can rely on it completely. By the way, the manual control regime is honestly implemented if you do not switch up in time, the motor will hang on a speed limit.
 

Ally of the above tandem branded system ATTESA E-TS. The emphasis here is placed on the rear wheels, and the front axle is involved only in the obvious slipping of the rear. As a result, controllability is in -wheel drive, and the steering wheel is maximally freed from the notorious parasitic moments. If you turn off the VDC stabilization system (you can completely), the G35X will bring a lot of joy in high -speed turns. True, it seems to me that only a few owners will take this opportunity. Let them at least know that it is.
 

The layout of the car is also focused on the active driver of the engine, for example, located within the wheelbase. The suspension is devoid of active shock absorbers today, but this does not prevent her from doing her job perfectly. There is no swing, the rolls are minimal, and comfort is at the proper level.
 

Even being shod in relatively high -profile tires 225/55 R17, the machine clearly responds to the movement of the steering wheel. The productivity of the hydraulic wrap changes depending on speed. I managed to accelerate the G35X to 220 km/h on the speedometer confident move. If you put the discs for an inch larger and low -profile rubber, the car will go even more interesting. However, in the Russian representative office they decided to limit themselves to one type of size, although, for example, in the United States you can choose other wheels. However, this is the main market for Infiniti, therefore, the choice of options there is richer. For example, armchairs with adjustable side support are offered, the rear wheels steering system.
 

One way or another, Infiniti G35X has almost no weaknesses. And the price tag says that for European all-wheel drive models of single-graders of such power will have to be paid much more. Therefore, the success of the G35X in our market can be considered a solved business.
 

Prices and configuration
The sedan is offered by dealers only with a 3.5 liter engine (315 hp). The gearbox is automatic five -speed. Two Sports (from $ 56 900) and Premium (from $ 57,575).
