There is no dispute, the car is nice and functional, in addition, compact and refers to the premium class, plus Japanese quality. But, perhaps, this is not enough for dubious glory. What else? Perhaps this Infiniti attracts the ladies by the fact that his body resembles a turtle shell. That is, with all its appearance it hints at the reliability and ability to protect the driver and passengers. And this, you see, is an important factor. Well, fun and readiness for rapid movements are already side effects. In addition, EX35 is easy to make you move at any pace.

These smooth lines create an elegant silhouette of a la coupes, which can really be compared with the correct proportions of the model on the catwalk. At the same time, in the exterior of EX35, belonging to the Japanese brand, to its off -road modeling row, is also guessed. This is expressed, first of all, in the massive grille of the radiator and characteristic lateral soups, chubby stern with LED lamps and, of course, in massive wheel arches. From here a little playful, but at the same time quite sports and elegant appearance. Therefore, I personally believe that a man behind the wheel of a crossover will look natural, in his place.
By the way, EX35 is based on the Infiniti FM platform, which has already served as the basis for G, M models, as well as a larger FX. To improve controllability and taking into account more compact sizes, the car base is shortened to 2800 mm, and the modernized rear multi -link suspension allowed the designers to increase the beneficial volume of the trunk to 309 liters. Not so much, especially compared to some competitors, but the rear seats can be folded entirely or parts. And in the most expensive trim levels, this operation, like opening the trunk cover, is carried out using an electric drive.
The salon is fulfilled in full accordance with the proprietary style of Infiniti. But the first sensation in it is not enough space. And in the shoulders and above the head. Then this sensation passes and is replaced by a new one in a sports car. The reason lies in a rather close cockpit, which is surrounded by powerful door sides, originating directly from the front panel. Stylish, you can’t say anything, but still I would like more space. Nevertheless, you can find a convenient landing behind the wheel without difficulty thanks to numerous adjustments in wide ranges, both the seat and the steering column itself.
The seat has good lateral support and is quite well profiled. In addition, the value of the lumbar abstract can be changed, of course, using the button. In general, ergonomics are at the level. All governing bodies are habitually, on the instrument panel, large dials of a tachometer and speedometer, immediately a small on -board computer monitor, although most of the information can be displayed on a color display in the upper part of the central console. That's just to treat him, at the same time responsible for navigation and for the work of the audio system, not so simple. A large joystick and a number of keys on both sides require a certain dexterity and addiction, otherwise, you have to constantly be distracted from the road. But some particularly important functions can be controlled using keys on the steering wheel, which pleases with a small diameter and solid thickness.
Well, the quality of finishing materials is at the highest level. Even the plastic of the front panel is soft and resembles the skin in texture. Bose audio system with 11 speakers sounds just great. The circular review system helps a lot when parking, it displays images from several cameras at once, giving an exhaustive picture of what is happening from all sides.
But behind the place is not enough. Personally, I, a man not small, managed to sit behind him somehow a half-worker, because the driver's seat was lowered to the stop, and there was nowhere to put the feet (and the legs themselves). And from the crown to the ceiling there was only a couple of centimeters. No, the best place in EX35 driving.

Almost a sports car
Interior parallels with a sports car arose not by chance. Indeed, under the hood, a gasoline V6 with a volume of 3.5 liters and a capacity of 302 hp works well under other models of the company. In pairs with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a branded ATTESA E-TS drive system, he guarantees excellent dynamics, which you are convinced after the first pressing of the accelerator pedal. The back immediately pushes the back of the seat, and under the bully sound of the exhaust you literally jump forward. Moments of upward switching are almost invisible, even if the transition from one stage to another is carried out in the area of \u200b\u200bmaximum revolutions (almost 7000 rpm). Moreover, after 3,500 rpm you are covered with a new wave of acceleration, this motor loves high speeds. The maximum torque reaches at 4800 rpm just as in a real sports car, such as the same Nissan 350z, on which the same motor is installed. And for habits, it is very similar to his older brother, FX.
With a quick passage of the turns, he demonstrates an almost excessive rotation, sometimes breaking into sliding with the stern. The reason is the settings of the proprietary all -wheel drive transmission. Under normal conditions, the engine power is mainly transmitted to the rear wheels. With a sharp acceleration, the system directs torque to all four wheels, helping the car start. If, after a speed set, the sensors detect the lack of need for all -wheel drive, then up to 100% of the power goes back. But it is worthwhile to slip or drift, as up to half the moment will instantly be transferred forward.

The system works in close cooperation with electronics, and therefore the power is constantly redistributed to the wheel or wheels that have the best adhesion to the road. But the most pleasant thing is that with all this, the behavior of the crossover is easily predicted, it is not able to frighten too much change of habits. Even with the stabilization system disconnected, to force the car to drive sideways or, conversely, it can be stabilized with clear movements of the lamb and the work of the accelerator pedal. The pedal, by the way, is very sensitive. Hence a good and quick response to the driver’s teams. Although, against this background, the automatic transmission algorithm is somewhat nervous: with a slight addition of gas, it does not strive to go to the step below too much, and if you stomp, it immediately jumps down, and with a sharp push takes the crossover forward. It is not easy to catch the middle ground, so EX35 can be called a few nervous car.

On the other hand, such settings may taste drivers of drive. After all, the automatic transmission adapts well to the driving style, and also has a sports algorithm of work and a manual gear mode. Together with a completely informative and rather sharp steering control, this allows you to ride very quickly. In addition, pendants delight with stiffness. The rolls of the body on the bends are not at all great, and this is despite the fact that there are no problems with the energy intensity either. Never, even with involuntary passage, not too pleasant pits, things have come to breakdown.

It is worthwhile to say about the brakes: they inspire confidence. By the intensity of the slowdown of the EX35, you can also compare with sportsmen. And, of course, the driver and passengers protect numerous electronic systems that help not only quickly stop the car, but also stabilize it in a critical situation.
It remains to say that Infiniti EX35 does not suffer from a modest appetite. So, in the city, he consumed at least 16-18 liters per hundred.
The model is offered in three trim levels at a price of 1,960,000 rubles.
