Passengers have fewer complaints on the gallery. There is plenty of free space here, the central tunnel is not high, the back of the sofa is adjusted along the angle of inclination, and in the central racks there are separate blowing deflectors.

Another Hyundai Santa Fe trump card is a huge trunk. Even with the backs of the rear sofa, its volume is 774 liters, and if you fold the rear row of seats, Santa Fe can take more than 1.5 cubic meters of cargo. In addition, under the floor of the trunk there are a pair of rather spacious compartments for various small things.

The dynamics of the 174-horsepower gasoline engine, if it is inferior to its predecessor V6, is the little, and the passport acceleration with the automatic transmission is at all the same 11.7 seconds. With such luggage, Santa Fe will definitely not be lost in the city stream, but there is not always enough traction on the highway and overtaking should be planned in advance. Even the nimble operation of a 6-speed machine does not save. When leaving Moscow, pour a full tank (75 liters). And here is the first surprise: the route computer shows that we have only 353 km to drive. The steering wheel has acquired a clear zero and proper transparency. As a result, Hyundai Santa Fe is not bad on a straight line and does not require unnecessary stooping. However, during the restructuring of the speed of the reaction, there is still not enough, the heavy crossover responds to the actions of the steering wheel with a slight delay.

If earlier Santa Fe completely ignored the rut, then with tightening the suspension it has become more difficult to observe the straight trajectory. In addition, now the crossover reacts more strongly to pits and road joints, although there is still no doubt in the excellent energy intensity of the suspension. Despite the fact that the quality of the roadway was actually worthy throughout the length of our journey, they do not pay much attention in Chuvashia, like a year ago. Here the test Santa Fe turned out to be well done. Even on 18-inch discs with tires 235/60 R18, the crossover took all the tests with honor, and did this with proper comfort for passengers.

In the bend of Hyundai Santa Fe, as befits a high and heavy car, stable, the trajectory holds well, but as soon as the speed on the arc increases, the body begins to roll, and in the limit of the South Korean floats out of turn with all four wheels, waiting for help from active security systems. However, he does not have to wait for a long time: the stabilization system on the alert and the driver’s liberties stops in the rudiment.

As for the off -road arsenal, like most cars of this class, in the Hyundai clip, an increased clearance (203 mm), as well as the connecting rear bridge. In addition, the center differential can be blocked forcibly, for which there is an appropriate key on the front panel. Unlike the last trip this time, an all -wheel drive came to the court. Extremely snowy winter did not pass by Kazan. Moreover, the appearance of utilities on the street is quite rare. If the roads are cleaned, then with a lot of late, and in the yards at that time, not only cars, but also pedestrians are stuck! The cost of Hyundai Santa Fe in the Russian market begins at 999,900 rubles. Only in this version, the Korean crossover is available with a manual box. Already for this money in the equipment list there is all the necessary equipment, including a 2-zone climate control, a full electric package, an audio system, heating the seats and a complete set of security systems. The most affordable version with automatic transmission will cost 1 196 900 rubles. With the exception of the optimal panel of the devices and the cooled glove box, the level of its equipment is similar to the base.

The car that visited the test, in addition, had a leather interior, an electric-regulation of the driver’s chair, an advanced audio system, xenon headlights, light sensor, 18-inch wheels and a non-cloth access system. Together with the equipment, the price, which is 1,332,900 rubles, increased. A top version with an electric drive of both front seats, a rear view camera, a navigation system, tinted glass, pressure monitoring system in tires and an electric lover will rise 1,453,900 rubles. Similar diesel versions are 116 thousand rubles more expensive.

Of the main competitors, we note the Chevrolet Captiva (from 1,021,000 rubles), Mitsubishi Outlander XL (from 929,000 to 1,349,000 rubles). Here you can also add the nozzle Kia Sorento (from 979 900 to 1,639,900 rubles).

Meanwhile, the Korean crossover has long been warmly accepted by the Russian market and is clearly not going to reduce the momentum. Stylish appearance, spacious interior, good price ratio with the size and level of equipment of Hyundai Santa FE is a good choice for those who value comfort and prefer unhurried movement in space.
