Santa Fe is equipped with an electronic center differential, automatically connecting the rear axle when the front wheels slip. At the entrance to the serious off -road, the center differential is blocked by the button at the bottom of the central console.
Koreans have not yet been imbued with the spirit of our time to such an extent as to organize the Start Stop button, and in a simple way they start the car with the old, good ignition key. The driver's seat with electroregies and the steering wheel adjustable in two planes provide a convenient working area.
In motion easily gains speed and slows down. The steering wheel gives your hands all the information that is needed, the rolls in the turns are quite moderate. The suspension is well worked out by serious irregularities, but in small transfers to the body too much vibration and noise.
 
I especially liked the automatic box. It is quite comfortable and fast in the usual mode D, it allows you to move on neutral and give rest to the right leg on the descents. Santa Fe will show a good run, which confirms good aerodynamics. On a winding gravel in manual mode, the car demonstrates rally capabilities-for example, when a farmer jumps out on an unidentified blue sedan, a moose test in real conditions, Santa Fe passes confidently. But the need for high -speed exercises is temporarily satisfied, and since there are orange trees around, you can calmly melt other people's oranges without leaving the car, but only stretching out your hand from the window or hatch. Oranges in Valencia are the best in the world: thin and exceptionally sweet, give several crops a year.
 
I could not get rid of the habit of riding with the headlights on the day (the Spaniards several times pointed to the shining xenon), so the devices pleased the whole day with a cheerful multi -colored backlight. The volume of the fuel tank of the new Santa Fe is increased to 75 liters - oddly enough, this amount was not enough for two crews to the test distance, about 250 km. They had to refuel. I still did not understand to whom they drove the fuel (in Spain the liter of the 95th-!! euro !! 1.20). Personally, I had a fuel sensor at the end of the route showed a little less than a half -bacon, that is, about 35 liters were left.
Santa Fe salon in the first and second row is very convenient for a passenger of any complexion.
