Hyundai IX35: not a clearing one

Kolesa.ru get acquainted with the new Hyundai IX35 successor to the Hyundai Tucson case, simultaneously surprised at its staffing and looking at the price tag in thought.

The owners of Hyundai Tucson forever left the assembly line would not recommend parking next to the new IX35 too much difference. Korean designers are not in vain eat their rice: a predatory front, steps on the wings and a profile copying Infiniti EX, causes associations with more expensive crossovers and not only outside.

Inside the IX35 is no less interesting. The steering wheel with thickening for the correct grip is dotted with buttons (among which even voice control); At the top of the central console there is a color display with a navigation system (!) And sensory control (!!). Separate climate control, full electrical package, stabilization system and blocking of the center differential in the younger Korean crossover everything is like in adults. The engine starting button and a nest for the iPod will not surprise anyone. True, the fact that the Apple product for some reason refused to connect to the test car before that we connected the same iPod to Lexus GX460 and it worked properly. Maybe the player was arrogant?!

The build quality is quite worthy. Unless the visors above the speedometer and the central display are attached not as soundly as, say, door trim or plastic of the central tunnel.
The devices are optimal, perfectly readable. These were the first to introduce Japanese engineers, and now it often pleases the eye in European and even Korean cars.

Under the hood of our subject, the Hyundai IX35 is a two -liter motor with an automatic checkpoint. The reaction to the gas pedal is honed and inactive only when it comes to sudden acceleration, the machine will first think. The manual transmission mode helps: there are six of them, but jumping with the sixth, say to the second, does not cause any problems.

Managing a compact Hyundai crossover is easy and pleasant in some places. On the steering wheel, an effort is felt enough to recognize the zero zone. The machine is rocked in quick and sharp turns, but the IX35 asphalt maneuverability for this class of cars is far from poor.

We decided not to move far on the off -road, although we even had the chances of getting out of a shallow swamp. Although the Intersose differential, a considerable angle of entry (24 degrees) and the system of assistance during the descent is a good arsenal, but the road clearance of 170 mm caused alertness.

But by the uneven rural road, the thirty -fifth turned out to be Indifferent. The lack of asphalt, small and medium irregularities do not interfere with the crossover to keep speed and not disturb the passengers with a roar.

Prices for the thirty-fifth begin with 899,000 rubles for a front-wheel drive crossover with a two-liter 150-horsepower engine and mechanics. For the machine, you will have to pay 80,000 (!!!) rubles, and for all -wheel drive 168,000 rubles to the base amount. Diesel IX35 with mechanics and a 136-horsepower engine cost from 1,219,900 rubles, and with an automaton and forced up to 164 hp. The engine will cost 1,335,900 rubles.

It is not true that the Koreans have already made their biggest step forward, after the leaders of the world automotive industry. They continue to go fast, confident steps, very slightly inferior to the Germans and Japanese as and the quantity of the car. However, in the number of money requested, the I and IX family continues to prove it.
