Four years passed since Koreans presented their Hyundai Coupe to the world. Today, this mass sports car is experiencing the second youth. However, there is nothing strange. Three whales, on which there is a car, a shortened platform of the Hyundai Lantra sedan, a two-liter 138-strong 16-valve engine and the suspension squeezed by Porsche specialists. But it looks like a coupe anyicer due to the deeply rethinking design of the front and rear parts of the body. In the profile, the car is not so much different from the predecessor, however, in general, the updated version of Hyundai Coupe (by the way, now the model has a patronymic of Tiburon) looks better, winning.
And yet it does not mean flawlessly. The appearance of the machine, somewhat overloaded with details, on an amateur. Moreover, noticeably, as before, the strong effect of the latest generation Toyota Celica stylistry.
However, plagiarism confuses little. And those who do not admire the lookoff of the Korean, will certainly be satisfied with his salon.
The cozy four-seater socket of the updated Hyundai Coupe largely copies the precursor salon. But at the same time the interior was significantly transformed due to the front panel made in modern technosty. Light plastic finish under aluminum, original handles, buttons and other small parts create an impression of absolute novelty.

Competently realizing the energy of the motor, it contributes to the best pickup during acceleration. Up to 3500-4000 min1 Hyundai seems to be analyzed what they want from it, and then it is started to drag with an excitement of the proven hill and rushes in full support to the cut-off of about 7000 min1. Whatever the engine would be turned around, its moment in the initial stage of movement is quite enough. Slightly press the gas pedal, and you can completely not fear that the car will stall.
With intensive acceleration, the engine delays hearing a well-supplied voice. The elastic suspension of Hyundai Coupe diligently (and with varying success) is fed from the attackers of her chosel and struggles with the roll, ensuring the stability of the movement. Due to the deep planting, the rear review is limited, but the front and side is normal.
Novelty requires victims, and first of all financial. At the price of 20975 American dollars, the new Hyundai Coupe is about four thousand green more expensive predecessor. However, the cost of cars of this type belonging to a more noble class, in any case much higher.
