In most countries, the new Hyundai, which debuted in 2005, is sold under the name of the emphasis. For Russia, an exception has been made to distinguish between cars of former and current generations. However, the price distinguishes them even more reliably: the base is true than the richest accent for 12,000 rubles.

Wider, higher, more convenient
Hyundai-Word acquired all the characteristic features of modern sedans, which are lacking in the accent. The trunk became higher, the hood is more sloping, and the roof in profile is round. Small and thin, more convenient in the accent: a small seat fixes the body well, and the belt, lowered in the lower position, lies precisely on the shoulder. And it doesn’t matter that you are sitting on the floor. A low glazing line, thin front racks, low front panels and trunk provide visibility, which the owners of many fresh models envy. Among them is true. The driver’s landing in it is modern, high, if necessary, it is adjusted by lifting the seat. But where the hood ends, you will have to guess. The high -raised front edge of the glass extends the blind area in front of the car by a meter compared to its predecessor. Through the rear window, the meter column is true from a distance of at least 4.8 m (from the accent exactly 2 m). Thick, highly tilted front and rear racks create considerable dead zones inevitable reckoning for increasing passive safety. But the lateral mirrors are true, such burdocks in the city can only be happy.

Verna approached modern classmates and the ergonomics of the back of the cabin. The seat pillow is more convenient, the back is higher. But the price of 75 thousand rubles is more attractive. A more powerful motor (102 hp) with a smaller weight of the car also gives a win in dynamics. Another engine (90 hp) is a rarity on sale.

The most expensive faithful is for almost half a million rubles thoroughly. There are two airbags, ABS+EBD, an automatic gearbox, a large set of electrical amenities (central locking, glass, mirrors, heating mirrors and front seats), as well as disc brakes in a circle and fog lights. The climatic installation, available to other markets, is not supposed to be only air conditioning. Although the drive of the electric shutters until complete automation remained a small step.

The maximum emphasis is much more modest. Equipped with automaton, ABS, air conditioning and an electric packet (but without heating seats), a driver’s pillow and drum rear brakes. Fog lights for a fee. It costs 102 thousand rubles cheaper than the successor.

The basic Verna greatly loses the accent in price. However, most buyers will not take the car on the oars today. For the right advantage, not only in design and ergonomics, but also sled disciplines. A hard and energy -intensive suspension, a quick, slightly heavy, with a good feedback the steering wheel and an informative accelerator made the car almost exemplary on smooth asphalt: minimum rolls, an active gas reaction, even with an automatic gearbox. Dry residue
The insatiable Russian market continues to absorb almost everything that they offer. However, competition is gradually growing. Only on the novelty and stereotypically modern appearance you will not go far. In the basic version, Verne is too poor, well equipped with a little expensive. So far, for half a million rubles, you can choose, though not so fresh, but more balanced Ford Focus, Toyota-Corolla or Mitsubishi-Lenser, there will be no excitement demand for Vernna. To achieve success, she needs to become cheaper or competitors at least formally update and rise in price.
So far, however, she just stood in line for the money of Russian buyers.

Hyundai Verna may well stand in a row with the Toyota-Corollah and Mitsubishi-Lenser of the current generation. But their life cycle is running out
