The popularity of the Honda Fit car is incredible! For 10 days that have passed since the beginning of the implementation (June 22, 2001), applications have been accepted for 23,000 cars. The former record belonging to the Honda Stream car (in the first 10 days- 14,000 applications) is broken by a large margin! And what is surprising - July has already come, and demand does not fall. One of my friends told me here, how he went to the dealer point yesterday (July 8), and there he is informed that this year it is already unlikely to get a car. How could this small car surpass the success of Stream himself, whose debut was called fantastic at one time? Where is the secret of this car? Let's try to figure it out.
 
A rich selection of color scheme is very attractive
If you try to determine the cause of the attractiveness of the FIT car, then the first thing that comes to mind is its appearance. Before meeting with the car itself, I decided to get acquainted with the catalog. But each of his page caused me the same reaction, namely, this one! At first there was a title photograph (upper side angle) where it is depicted painted in a rich red color, called Milano. The car looks so pretty and at the same time intelligent; It impresses relatively roomy and not at all cheap cars, unlike many of his brothers-micro-lines. Continuing to leaf through the catalog, I got acquainted with all the new and new options for painting the car.
Currently, the manufacturer is ready to offer 10 different colors for painting the body, but I allocated 3 of them for myself. Firstly, it is blue ice with metal, and secondly, the color is yellow orchid, and in third place is a matte-grinding color with metal. And only then there is a rich red (Milano). If we talk about which cars of which color are better sold at the moment, then the color of natural silver with metal comes first in the first place, followed by blue ice with metal, then brilliant white opal, and the fourth most popular is occupied by a rich red. The promised white silver looks good, but since, as was said, the manufacturer offers a variety of color scheme in 10 items, each buyer has the opportunity to choose a suitable color for his car, which is best suited for a car, whose name FIT. In fact, I should assure you, the cars were even more attractive than in the photographs.
 
Amazing practicality and economy
Compared to the appearance, the internal design is more restrained, although the decoration of the dashboard looks very, very worthy. If you add a little bright tones here, it would have been so that there is nowhere better. And how spacious the salon turned out to be! Of course, it is 20 cm in length more than the cabin of the Toyota Vitz car, but there were much more places for rear passengers and the luggage compartment. Moreover, freely adjustable rear seats with leaning backs have become so convenient! Surprisingly, in such a generally small trunk you can even fit a surfing board or a folding bike.
The car’s move is sharp, typical for Honda cars. The engine advertised in newspapers with a working volume of 1.3 liters in combination with the CVT variator transmission is close in parameters to the Toyota Vitz engine, which consumes 4.35 l/100 km in urban driving mode, and also allows the car to climb the mountain very briskly. The elastic suspension makes the irregularities of the road surface to be tangible, but it holds the car well in corners. If this could be added to this inherent in European micro -liters of thoroughness, solidity and grace, this car in its class would have no equal.
