In this form, the Honda CR-V appeared before visitors to the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Only three years after the start of production, a popular light SUV was subjected to Feyslifting, and at the same time a technical upgrade.

Finally, the VSA stabilization system (Vehicle Stability Assistant) appeared, and immediately in the database. Four optional curtains made the company with standard front and side pillows. For machines with a mechanical checkpoint, cruise control is offered. In this form, the Honda CR-V appeared before visitors to the 2004 Paris Motor Show. An additional fist module was introduced into the rear wheel connection mechanism, designed to increase the speed and smoothness of all -wheel drive, as well as transmit a larger torque to the rear axle. But the main innovation Russians will not be able to evaluate. Even if there was such an opportunity, they would still not appreciate. I'm talking about the magnificent 140-horsepower 2.2 CDTI turbodiesel from the chord, which is guaranteed to ensure the increase in European sales.


Well, we have not grown up to diesel engines yet. Fortunately, Honda Motor has excellent gasoline engines. As, for example, this two-liter, with the I-VTEC phase system and the VTC inlet valves control system. The motor is quiet, elastic, active at the top, however, with some deficit of torque at the very bottom. The gearbox works clearly, the moves of the lever are small. The brakes are effective, although their drive does not get transparency. The controllability of the comments did not arise at all as in a passenger car, and in a good passenger car. Problems when transplanting from a compact hatchback to such an SUV will definitely not arise.
 
The implementation of the stabilization system can only be welcomed. Not only is it really useful, it still serves as a means in competition. It is no secret that until now, some of the buyers made their choice in favor of the Toyota RAV4 model due to the presence of such a system (under the designation VSC) and the absence of it in CR-V.

  

This is not even a means of transportation, but as if some of you are so organic and finished.

Inside Honda has changed little. If it has changed, then without prejudice to its daily practicality. As always, you can find enough space for people in the form of wide and comfortable seats and for luggage in the form of all kinds of pockets, shelves, boxes and, of course, a solid trunk, which also has a removable folding table for funny family picnics. With all the desire, there is no way to ignore the fifth door with its ability to fix any angle of opening, as well as separately rising glass.
 
The rear seat device is thought out: both parts of it move back and forth and are adjusted along the corner of the back of the back.
 
The strength of CR-V has always been an interior due to the presence of design in it. The design is not indisputable, however, at least memorable. Earlier here was dominated by the central console, visually strengthened by the parking brake lever on the left and a powerful handrail on the right. During the restyling, the Japanese took up the devices. Having given the unconditional leadership of the speedometer, they added below the black-gray display of the on-board computer, in which the first violin plays an electronic index of instant fuel consumption. Such a thing, called the Economy, only in analogue, until recently, decorated, or rather, overloaded the BMW car dashboard. As soon as the Germans were abandoned due to complete meaninglessness, like those on! The Japanese are right there. But on the CR-V, the economy meter does not make sense: not only is it annoyed by constant movements, but this is also stirring with delays, not having time behind a sharply pressed gas pedal. A toy.

 

What can not be said about CR-V itself. This car is hardly very beautiful, but it attracts not with appearance, but with rationality. Friendly, functional, easy character. In addition, Brandu belongs promises rare visits to the service only for planned then. I state: CR-V has matured, blossomed and ready to drown out the smell of other colors with its aroma.
