But here is a conceptual question: is it worth worrying about the fact that in the life of most such machines it may never happen? .. Isn't it better to take care of the amenities that are necessary every day?

The flat floor and numerous pockets wherever possible allow you to place both large baggage and all sorts of little things. In addition, the spare wheel made out freed the niche under the floor. Its cover, like the previous model, is a folding table for a picnic. As they say, nothing, but nice. There is still rising glass for access to the trunk. For some reason, it is not released by the general drive of the central lock-you have to press a special button on the driver's door.

It seems like the latter is better, if only because it is designed for more difficult conditions. It was then that the organic drawback of the classic jeep lies, which, in principle, is primarily intended for off-road. He needs a large road clearance, a high -speed suspension, a transmission with other gear numbers, durable and therefore massive frames and suspension ... As a result, the SUV is too heavy, less stable and less dynamic on a normal road. The Honda CR-V concept implies that the machine should feel confident on the road and be able to move off it. Hence the supporting body, a rather low and aerodynamic, complex independent suspension of all wheels, an engine whose characteristics are oriented mainly on accelerated dynamics, plus the ease of control.

In the city, CR-V really feels like a fish in water, especially with an automatic transmission. The box is not too late and switches very gently - the change of transmission can be seen only by the jump of the tachometer arrow. In Kik Dawn, the transmission behaves as a sports: it allows you to traditionally be spinning almost to the limit. The sound of the engine, if an audio system is turned on, you will hear only in this mode. With a normal movement, you can give yourself pleasure with a pleasant roar only in the absence of other sources of noise. True, the suspension is not averse to telling what terrible irregularities she has to swallow. It is rare, but it also happens that she does not have enough words, and passengers learn about the condition of the road, feeling tremors. But for not quite a passenger car, Honda CR-V is very stable and obedient-the sensations are not too different from the station wagon of close sizes. The same passenger impression is made by steering. The amplifier is very good and provides a pleasantly tight reaction, while almost riding the driver from unnecessary jerks on the steering wheel when moving irregularities.
I did not have a chance to check the all -wheel drive. You can’t force the rear wheels forcibly, in CR-V this happens only automatically when the front slipping. It was somehow not possible to find suitable dirt and even more so snow in July. However, most likely it will not look for adventures and the average owner of CR-V.
Perhaps the only thing you can find fault at the workplace of the driver is the overly witty parking brake: when it was needed for the first time, it had to be searched. Between the chairs - no, there is simply an even floor. On the left, like many models with a machine gun? There is a micro-bardach, and that’s it. Yeah, here is a familiar icon ... over some silver key ... A handbrake on the button? No. It turned out that he is in a non -cut position is masked under the handle on the console. Original, stylish, convenient, but not when you first drive this car.

Minimalist. Honda is one of the bright representatives of the Japanese approach. Despite the fact that this model has been produced at the factory in the UK, like the previous two years, Japanese origin is very noticeable. It is strange why the Japanese refuse to adopt the experience of colleagues in terms of the features of the functioning of some systems. Why, for example, you can not automatically unlock the lock from the inner handle of at least the driver's door? It would be nice to allow the glass windows to work for some time after the key is taken out. However, this form of minimalism does not at all interfere with maximalism in quality. Everything that the Japanese finds necessary to do is almost perfect.
