However, this is only mimicry, although, most likely, not random. After all, the last addition in the family, the modification of Fuzn plus called Urban Active Vehicle - a car for active citizens. Such, of course, the boots of a pioneer size of 4x4 do not need anything, but the tightness of the figure is very to the face. Say, in the city, a large road clearance is not needed? I will mind - not to mention Russian realities, even in much more prosperous countries, a shortage of parking space makes it possible to jump into the curbs sometimes. Yes, and landing, a slightly higher car is more convenient, and some deterioration in aerodynamics is not so important - in the city the speed is not the same.
Ford Fuzhn was built on the platform of the already very spacious new fiesta. The relief sides have slightly expanded the machine (20 mm), the height and length increased much more noticeably (by 71 and 103 mm, respectively). Thanks to this, when landing, you almost do not have to bend, the upper cut of the doorway is located only just below the shoulder of an adult. Inside is also unusually free for such a compact car. The driver's seat with a round, similar to a banquet with a pillow is placed quite high, however, the ceiling is settled from the crown to the length of the palm. It is the length, not the width!
Behind the sofa is located even higher - the supply of space is smaller, but there is no need to talk about cramped. The body is minimally narrowed up and without any problems will accommodate three medium -sized men.
A few months ago I traveled on a new fiesta and now, sitting in Fuzhn, I was looking for ten differences. The main one found right away - a paper box appeared on top of the torpedo. Then it turned out that under the front right seat there is a basket, and its back can be laid forward by forming a table or freeing a place for something long. But in order to find other differences, I would have to put fiesta nearby - such a close similarity of two seemingly different models is rare.
The interior is quite stylish, although simple forms of individual elements and inexpensive materials do not allow you to forget about the status of a mass car. Of the advantages - the seal of the steering wheel, short and exact passages of the gearbox lever, original ventilation deflectors, conveniently located joystick control of external mirrors, electric heaters and ramps dropped with the backs of the rear head restraints. However, as in FIEST, the outer mirrors are stingy for information, and the right steering switch controls the front and rear wipers exactly the opposite. Test fusion worth 14,725 euros in the Trend configuration is equipped quite well: ABS, four airbags, electric drives of mirrors and front glasses, an audio system, and air conditioning.
In the movement, the similarity of two cars is even more - a familiar 1.4 -liter Duratec was under the hood. The vocal engine works to the best of its 80 forces and allows the machine with a equipped mass of 1145 kg confidently to stay in the city stream. But nothing more - dashing starts, risky overtaking, especially with passengers or cargo, will have to be forgotten. A hard suspension, light and fast steering wheel, high maneuverability - these are all the features of a pragmatic citizen. Of course, it is possible to speculate about the features of Ford-fusion behavior in marginal modes, information content and other smart things, but, I think, not these qualities for him are the main ones. As they say, Caesar is a cesarean ...
Passing back, clapping the doors and jerking over different handles, I suddenly caught myself thinking that I was at a loss to classify this car. If this is a hatchback, then what is the fiesta? Yes, and his proportions are different. If this is a mini -wen, then where is the branded dish - the extensive and various possibilities of transforming the salon? It seems that the designers took their dignity from different classes, and not all, but selectively - those that are most in demand, connecting them in one car. And they called him Ford Fusion. Such is the alloy.
