Perhaps Ford marketers reasoned just when they worked on the update of the second generation Focus, which is only four years old. Perhaps the reasons were completely different. But one thing is obvious: in previously emphasized pragmatic in appearance Focus appeared at least some kind of highlight. On the updated car, I would like to hold my gaze how ten years ago I wanted to look at the first -generation Focus, the design of which then seemed the height of extravagance in the class of family hatchbacks.
 
According to representatives of the blue oval, only the roof did not touch all the body panels in the updated Focus. It is right: who looks at the car on the roof? Ford stylists in small blood instilled a branded kinetic design to the machine, which goes better than some other brand models. And although the car seems to have remained the same, but, no matter how you look at it, some new details of the design are found everywhere. In front, it is huge, as if in some sportskup, the mouth of a radiator grille with chrome edging and curved headlights. The side is more expressive wheel arches. The relief bumper, a chrome strip on the door of the trunk (at hatchbacks and station wagons) and LED lamps, proposed, though, as an option.
 
Changes in the salon are even more pleasing to the eye. Preserving the previous architecture of the front panel, the Fords focused on trifles and greatly succeeded in this. A new shield of devices with three -dimensional chrome shirts, a more elegant gearbox lever, the central console of the new design, a slightly more solid plastic for aluminum in the decoration and Focus no longer impress a cheap car. As for the technical basis, Ford does not hide the fact that in this regard the updated car has not changed.
