This second Focus model with the RS emblem promises to open a new chapter in a 40-year history that began in Germany by releasing the Escort RS 1600 of 1970. Especially for Focus RS, a turbocharged version of the 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine Duratec was developed. Its power is 305 hp, and the maximum torque is 440 nm.
The three -door Ford Focus RS hatchback is equipped with a revoknuckle front suspension, designed to reduce the unwanted deterioration of controllability and powerful steering, characteristic of powerful front -wheel drive models. The estimated cost of the car in the basic configuration and with a standard set of options is 1,238,000 rubles. In Russia, the novelty will be available in three colors: Frosen White (in the standard), Performance Blue and Electric Green. The color of the body in Performance Blue will increase the price by 16,900 rubles, and in Electric Green (the memory of the legendary green Escort RC1600, which participated in the 70s in the races in the leman) by 34,900 rubles.
