But in special automotive publications it was already nicknamed by a child's version of the model Daihatsu YRV. And indeed, with her silhouette she very much resembles the YRV car (and maybe Mazda Demio), but only in a slightly horrible form.
The main components of the body and the engine are the same as in other front-wheel drive micro-vehicles Daihatsu, although curved springs with an additional slope on the front suspension, it is from the older brother - the Storia model. There are, however, a lot of original solutions that have not previously used. As soon as the car started from the place, I immediately had the feeling that the quality of the course was not typical of the micro-car. Yes, the body is very tough. Such a fundamental completion is also felt in the car for active recreation, driven by the engine with superior. In all micro-car cars of this category, which I had to manage before, a narrow rut and a raised center of gravity was compensated by the stiffness of the suspension. It was felt practically in all models. As a result, for example, when turning on the descent, there is no feeling that you enter the turn as on the wings. But on Max with its hard body and soft suspension everything else. No feeling of compression, the car smoothly follows the bends of the road tape.
The category of cars for outdoor activities in fact represent two modifications: R with a three-cylinder engine, and RS with four cylinders. In this case, the CYBER-4WD system is used only in the RS modification. The impression of the work of the engines is such: the 3-cylinder motor is much better. The engine with 4 cylinders on low revolutions almost sacred, and the presence of a turbocharger affects. But here are high speeds with difficulty, it feels that the engine is not ready to reach the top point. And although the turbocharger is the same, but to spinning the engine with 3 cylinders to him, it must be more pleasure.
 
What's closer to Vitz or Fit?
With the advent of the MAX model, three lines of Daihatsu microlo cars were formed: Move line (more), Mira line (smaller) and Max line (medium). The mansion is the model Naked and Opti. At the same time, interest in such traditional hatchbacks, such as Mira, will be asked.
At the same time, assessing the degree of readiness of the MAX model, ask yourself the question: will this car be able to attribute this car to microlo? I remember, another 2-3 years ago, microllates and small cars separated a robust wall. But I look at Max. So what does it differ from Toyota Vitz or Honda Fit? Just one size is less, and that's it. Well, of course, more tax breaks, yellow numbers. But if all this is discarded, and look at things unbiased? There is nothing surprising in the fact that people choose Max.
