However, the schedule of business trips turned out differently, and for me a meeting with Citroen C4 Aircons was an acquaintance. However, it may be better. But now we have two different views on almost the same cars.

It's about a couple of Peugeot 4008/Citroen C4 Aircons. They were represented with a difference less than a day in different places in Europe. We did not forget, however, to mention that they worked on the adjustment of the suspension and electrical power steering, based on the representations existing in the PSA. And this is a plus, because the questions for Mitsubishi ASX on this topic took place.

And this is also a big plus, because what will they first look at with a minimum of technical differences? True for design. The LED fangs of running lights in the front bumper become the Aircons Front Bamer, which are becoming both lighter and more aggressive, becoming a family line. The curtsys are simply C4 in the form of obvious, but the crossover looks more spectacular. Sick-shaped rear lights are more interesting than that of the brother-Peugeot. Without embarrassment, the French answer a tricky question about the fate of the chrome cover of exterior details: yes, it is made more stable aggressiveness of Russian weather and road realities.

The interior is deprived of avant -garde notes. Let's just say: a little French charm was added to Japanese ergonomics, while not really investing in the delight. In a no matter of organizing the space of the Boxing inlets, the multimedia inputs of USB and AUX, which have already become almost the norm, as well as a 12-volt nest-rosette. But if we talk about charm and comfort, then why, for example, they saved on trifles in the form of an automatic regime for opening all glasses, except for a driver’s, it is clear with difficulty. A high ceiling allows you to sit behind the wheel of a driver of almost any height, and it is possible to sit down without difficulty yourself. The trunk, like the counterparts, is small. On the go, it becomes clear that the stories about its suspension settings and the steering wheel amplifier are not empty words. The impression of stability and controllability is interesting. It seems that you can’t say that zero on the steering wheel is perfectly a couple, but the near -Stolium zone is clear well. It seems to be a mixed sensation at low speed: the nose and feed of the machine live somewhat different lives, allowing even small diagonal tags. And you go out onto the winding road and the wind rose moves by no means, not like the winds, but quite understandable and predictable. Even a little correcting small errors that a not particularly experienced driver may allow. The seemingly perhaps unnecessary at the prayer is the rigidity of the suspension for good. In general, there is no need to talk about some special goodness of controllability, but there are no complaints.

And the dynamics of the car is also peaceful. Even with a two-liter 150-horsepower AricCross motor is leisurely. The thrust wakes up already at 3,500 speeds, and soon the engine rests on the optimal mode supported by the variator. Manual control of CVT pseudo-transmission with convenient steering wheel petals adds a little agility. But, firstly, not fundamentally, and secondly, the sensation is quickly enough in the formula pilot, and you are returning to a measured leisurely driving, walking. The fact that the defense of noise insulation improved by the French begins to give up at high speeds: if in measured modes it is really more reliable than it was possible, then, just after the threshold that the variator considers reasonable to give up a position before a monotonous hum.

In total, the character of the car turns out to be a calm-family, which leaves, perhaps, only one question: how much aircross phlegmatic with a younger, 115-horsepower engine is 1.6 liters? Recall the full -wheel drive is not burdened.

The name are Aircons is romantic. But this is not the romance of storm winds, beating in the face and attracting into unknown Dali. This is the romance of old, covered with greens of mountains, cozy chalet and family evening behind a warm fireplace.
