At first, the car seems just huge. But soon you understand that this is an illusion. In fact, 300m is a little more than the Volga, and the optical deception is created at the expense of its arrow -shaped shape. A low roof based on almost horizontal racks, huge windshields and rear windows, long hood, large overhangs - all this not only significantly increases the machine in size, but also makes it unique. In the form of 300m, youthful enthusiasm and mature are organically combined.
 
A luxurious leather salon is no less great than the car itself. Having increased the wheelbase, the designers significantly lengthened the residential area and thereby provided more space for passengers: from the edge of the front row to a motor shield 107 cm, and between the rows - 99.
 
Sitting in front, of course, is still more pleasant. Firstly, the chairs here have as much as eight adjustments, and secondly, you can freely see the beautiful front panel and, if you want, to experiment with the climatic installation, play with the hatch or torment the radio. By the way, she was somewhat surprised: the sound could be better-after all, Chrysler, and not some penny.
 
Of course, we looked into the trunk. Large but not huge: 476 liters - not a super -soup for a car of this class. Daewoo Nexia, for example, is 500 liters. But the Chrysler pantry opens from the inside. To do this, there is a pen that shines in the dark. Why such a stray? Yes, then, so that your child, secretly climbing the trunk and accidentally closed there, could get out on his own. Such pens are now installed on many American cars, since the mischief of children has more than once ended in tragedy.
 
The motor compartment, compressed quite tightly, caused a double feeling. On the one hand, admiration for designers who managed to drive all this here, on the other hand, sympathy for the person who will serve the car. For example, in order to pull out the battery, you will have to climb the devil knows where, and even dismantle the air filter. And its dimensions, I must say, are considerable. And it is not surprising: Chrysler 300m is set in motion of a 2.7-liter V-shaped six with a capacity of 204 hp, which is oxygen as needed.
 
There is a modification with a 3.5-liter 253-horsepower engine, but this is already too much-a power unit of 2.7 liters of a car is enough for the eyes and ears.
 
It is worth driving a gas pedal, and 300m literally breaks off. The automatic gearbox does not interfere with this. If necessary, you can even improve the dynamics by translating the automatic transmission into a sequential operating mode. And then - please switch the programs, as you see fit.
 
If you will hesitate and do not have time to switch to the highest level, the machine will do it itself as soon as the engine revolutions reach the most acceptable. But he will not switch the gears down. Having thrown off the speed, and then deciding to spur the horse again, do not be surprised that he will not run: he will quickly accelerate from thirty kilometers per hour in direct gear, even when 204 hp under a hood.
 
In general, rush through the streets on Chrysler somehow not with a hand. In the end, we are not in Los Angeles on the set of the next action movie. The wrong roads are. Although, as it seemed to us, the car does not bother this at all. Hefty seventeenth wheels practically do not respond to small potholes and cracks in the asphalt. If something more significant will come across, and here the embarrassment will not work - the suspension will arise to protect comfort. In short, you will feel a strong shake only if you go to move an open well.
 
However, a soft suspension is by no means a synonym for instability. Chrysler is very good. Being a front -wheel drive, he confidently writes out almost any trajectory outlined by the driver. In corners, a little more is heated than we would like, but this is a trifle in comparison with approximate behavior. The only thing that can be complained of with such traffic modes is that, despite excellent side support, you begin to fall out of the seats - skin!
 
But the body on it easily shifts when, say, you need to look around to perform the maneuver in reverse. Only at first it would not have been superfluous to go out and look around: the feeling of the dimensions of the car does not come right away - neither its front edge, nor the back from the driver’s place is visible.
 
The model has a rather large list of options included in standard equipment. Here are just a few: cruise and tracshn control, a waybill, a rear-view mirror with automatic obscurity, heating the front seats, memory for personal settings of a driver's seat and mirrors, four airbags, immobilizer, alarm, adjustable steering column.
 
Additional equipment includes only a hatch, a navigation system, as well as the velor trim of seats and chrome disks. Everything else, we repeat, in the standard. And to this, as to everything good, you quickly get used to it.
