It’s just that even in his homeland, in America, Tahoe is respect for its size and endurance. Therefore, fans of these huge cars will not exchange their iron friends for anything, even despite the gigantic size and high fuel consumptionTraditionally, the Americans change the cubic external design of Chevrolet Tahoe with great care. It is understandable, because in many years the production of one of the most popular US SUVs to its brutal appearance have already managed to get used to in many countries of the world. So this time, the Americans did not radically change the appearance of a cult car, but simply added a kind of modern brutality, because the square design is now also in fashion. Actually, thanks to its appearance (very successful, by the way), Tahoe is easily recognized on the street and always stands out from the stream. This can be judged at least by respectful views from neighboring cars: the new car became not only attractive, the largest, but primarily wider. On the narrow streets of the center of Moscow on a weekday, it is not easy to squeeze out on such Goliath. This giant is unlikely to like to drive women, but they will definitely like to ride in the salon as passengers.
Pleasant moments begin, you just have to take up a huge chrome door handle and pull it over. Tahoe politely gives the bandwagon a huge threshold automatically extends from under the bottom using an electric drive. Thus, the problem of the appearance of dirt on trousers when leaving a high car is finally solved. Previously, such a feldder was available only to owners of much more luxurious and expensive Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade.
The interior was almost completely modified. Huge leather seats contain a person of any height and thickness, and the dashboard with a bunch of sensors and not devoid of the elegance of the torpedo with clear buttons and soft illumination announces that the 21st century has come, earlier the design of the Tahoe interior caused a lot of complaints from fans: they say, they say, they say Everything is outdated for a long time, it was time to introduce something new. The back row of seats leans back automatically only to press the key on the ceiling or on the rear rack, which allows passengers without much difficulty (the threshold has already been fed, we remember) find themselves in the third row of seats. In general, few people are able to complain about the lack of space in this machine. The third row of chairs (there are only two of them) easily leaning forward with one lever, thus freeing the space for luggage of almost any size. By the way, from now on, in order to put something in the trunk, you no longer need to engage in physical education and pull a heavy door the size of an entrance metal door in the apartment. It is enough to press only one button, and the door will open and close automatically. In a car that many used to consider exclusively collective farm, such an option was not provided in principle. In general, it should be noted that the new Tahoe has become almost a city car. Of course, he has a full-wheel drive that drops a row in the transmission, but ... a low-hanging apron of the front bumper and huge chrome 20-inch wheels with city tires will make you think three times whether to meddle in mud on this machine. After all, Chevrolet Tahoe is not a full -fledged jeep, as many people think, but a real Truck (a truck equipped with all -wheel drive). His destiny not to storm the plowed field, but to carry weights. For example, a trailer with a yacht, since the gigantic size of the automatic transmission there is a button for turning on the corresponding mode.
The Tahoe has at the disposal of the editorial office under a huge hood V8 with a volume of 5328 cm3 and a capacity of 325 hp. Needless to say, at a sharp start from the place, especially in summer mode on the rear -wheel drive, the wheels manage to cream and screech with rubber even on dry asphalt. This is not surprising with a torque of 460 nm. Such an engine is able to carry a gigantic carcass Tahoe weighing nearly three tons like a fluff.
The appetite of the monster is also impressive. In the city, the SUV eats 2426 liters of fuel, but on the suburban highway, the consumption is significantly reduced to 13 (!) Lithers. It turns out that the new Tahoe is most interesting as a transport for long travel.
And finally, the most important thing: the new Tahoee finally and unconditionally learned to slow down and not be too frightening in corners. After all, it was these topics that were always considered sick corncles of full -sized American cars, primarily trucks and SUVs. Disk brake mechanisms on all wheels are quite informative and easily stop the heavy car. A cotton failed brake pedal, to the coming joy of fans of enormous Americans, remained in the past.
Be that as it may, the new Chevrolet Tahoe proved that in his niche of full -sized SUVs, he is not ready to give up without a fight and give in to his rightful place on the market for the pioneers of other brands, especially from the East.
