In the line of compactwenes presented today in our car market, Chevrolet Rezzo is distinguished by an attractive ratio of price and quality. Very few manufacturers are able to offer so many cars for such modest money.
 
The brainchild of Daewoo Motor, which received the name of Tacuma at birth, was born in 2001, shortly before the absorption of the Korean automotive industry by the General Motors corporation. Therefore, by the fall of 2005, when the Americans presented this compactwane in Russia, the car managed to change not only the name, but also the surname, becoming Chevrolet Rezzo.
 
The original appearance of Rezzo, which was worked on Italian stylists, is not devoid of attractiveness: a large area of \u200b\u200bglazing, a spectacular double waist line, expressive rear lights. True, the interior pumped up slightly, especially in terms of finishing materials: cheap plastic of the cabin looks somewhat depressing. But here, not without pleasant exceptions: grip door handles with a coating that resembles rubber to the touch, just horror as good.
 
Landing the driver in the minivan is high. The steering column is regulated only in height, however, the range of longitudinal adjustment of the seat (there are also lambs of settings of the pillow and lumbar support height) is quite wide, which allows even tall people to get a stump. At the same time, in the second row, consisting of three seats, there is enough space for passengers up to 190 cm tall not to be deprived of fate.
 
As befits a real family car, Rezzo is abundant in abundance with a variety of containers for the required little things on the road. Pockets in each of the doors, chest chests under the rugs, niches on the central console and in the luggage compartment, drawers under the front chairs. It offers the rear passengers - folding tables, and the back of the central chair easily turns into a comfortable armrest with two cup holders (there are seven stands for multibill -masculin dishes in total).
 
Even if there are passengers in the rear seats, the trunk looks quite spacious - a couple of large suitcases will fit without problems. And there is a need to transport something large-sized, after all, passengers can be sacrificed. Each of the three rear seats easily folds and even completely removes from the cabin. The loading process facilitates a wide opening and low loading height.
 
What is the Korean American on the go? Of course, the most weak of the most weak of the engines in the line (105 -horsepower 1.6 -liter motor for some markets - including Russian - is deformed to 90 horsepower). For more or less dynamic acceleration, the unit needs to be twisted. The engine produces maximum power at 5200 rpm of the crankshaft per minute, and the maximum torque - 145 nm - is reached at 4200 rpm. The only problem is that with intensive promotion, you risk shaking: it is worth the tachometer arrow over 4000 rpm, the motor becomes too noisy. Wave-willy, you have to switch higher. And here an active driver is in wait for another, however, less significant disappointment. The transmission selection mechanism is far from perfect clarity, and the lever move is much longer than the desired.
 
Rezzo does not have high -speed driving. The driver overcomes the threshold of acoustic comfort, having driven the speedometer arrow for 120: the whistle of the wind, which is far from the aerodynamic ideal of the body, and the rumble of tires, join the noise of the engine. And at speeds above 140 km/h, rezzo pilot is not only uncomfortable, but also unsafe. The car becomes extremely sensitive to the flaws of the coating (waves, ruts) and simply begins to scour along the road, forcing to constantly steal. It is possible to get to the maximum speed of 167 km/h, although not without difficulty, but is it worth it?
 
There are questions to the brake system (in front - discs, back - drums). The pedal itself works clearly quite clearly, but the brakes are definitely not enough. Especially when it comes to slowing down high speeds. In addition, with sharp braking, the test car constantly led left ...
 
In general, unlike many more advanced classmates, the Korean compactwhen is not even trying to get to the glorious Khort of Driver's Cars. But who said that the family car, and this is precisely such a tribal credo of different -caliber veins, should accelerate to hundreds in three seconds and lay crazy turns?! The main purpose of this kind of machine is to deliver the owner with children and households from point A to point B. If possible is safe and comfortable. And REZZO is all right with this. Already in the database you get: fog, roof rails, a full electric package, air conditioning, ABS, four airbags, a full -time radio with control keys on the steering wheel.
