An indicator, not comparable, say, with Logan (21,115 cars sold) and Lanos (13,400). Focus with Lancer is much ahead. Is it possible, based on this, we can conclude that the B-class is for $ 14,000 (this is the average price of Aveo, and that is how much our test car costs) is of less interest, and in Russia they are more likely to spend either a smaller amount on cheaper models, or A little larger, but already on the middle class?
By no means! Call the dealer, ask about Aveo. Most likely, the manager's voice will immediately make it sneak. Still: he will have to report the waiting time for at least four months (depending on the configuration) everything that arrives in Russia is immediately sold, and the result of 2,600 cars does not reflect the interest of Russian motorists.

The basic configuration of the Chevrolet Aveo costs $ 11,280. The kit includes a 1.2-liter 72-horsepower engine, a mechanical five-speed KP, a driver’s pillow, glass tinting, a body-adjustable steering column, electric windows, immobilizers adjustable in height. A 1.4-liter 94-horsepower 16-valve can be ordered in a version for $ 13,330, and a complete set with an automaton for $ 17,160.
But we were distracted by the appearance of the first Aveo, Jujaro himself worked. This is a plus, although it is not clear how large the percentage of connoisseurs of the creativity of Italian masters among those who consider such a car as their own and, despite the fact that you can see the author’s nchilda only with a magnifying glass and pre -warmed interest. But it is not important. Anyway, the car cannot but like it a fairly high landing and classic, rapid, if you like, Sedanov’s profile. The minimum of architectural excesses on the body and the right silhouette, personally resembling the previous generation of Opel Astra. Such a modern performance of classics ...
But even more in Aveo I liked the salon. Unlike Lacetti, several colors and textures are not mixed here strict, dark and pleasant to the touch. Only a few inserts for aluminum on the dashboard are diluted, which do not spoil the interior, combining with a similar design of the large rudder in the diameter (the same as in Lacetti). The combination of devices and the central console may not be too unique (if you delve into memory, you will remember that every element has seen somewhere), but they create a pleasant, harmonious environment. In this sense, everything is a panel of devices, and radio, and nozzles of ducts are better made than in the previous Aveo.
And also in the cabin quietly. It seems that in vain in the Aveo forums they criticized the plastic for excessive volume, it is not heard of extraneous sounds. Only in the wheeled arches there is not enough sound insulation: it is noticeable when you go along small gravel. And the engine in normal driving mode was not at all loud but it was worth the luminous arrow of the tachometer to exceed 4,000, as the motor first reminded of himself did not like what was happening, not his business to unwind to the top and spend the fuel in vain. After all, the basic life principle of Aveo save. And exceeding passport 8.6 liters per hundred in the city is also not in its style. Although, the upper bar of appetite can reach 10.5 liters

The dynamics of the most powerful of the available AVEO, if impressed, was slightly. A car with a 94 -liter engine. With. It is perfect for urban driving, it is moderately dynamic, but you should not expect more to accelerate from it even throughout the entire range of working revolutions. For example, the 98-horsepower Lancer motor (the comparison is not quite honest, but still) caused much more pleasant emotions, despite such an insignificant horse difference, I liked the slightly smaller transmission not to be called short, and the engineers can still work over clarity. But with the ability to slow down Aveo is all right. The only thing you need to get used to that the first 20% of the pedal is ineffective; The pedal is a little cotton, and the brakes begin to work only with a deeper press.
A typical B-class middle peasant is equipped with everything necessary and everything that the city car must be able to be able to. There is everything that is needed in the city of a 94-horsepower engine, steering wheel amplifier, ABS, two airbags, air conditioning, electric windows to the front, radio. The car is not demanding of the driver, but he is ready to give everything that Daewoo and Chevrolet were overwhelmed. Do you think his ambitions exceed the capabilities? It seemed to me at all!
