It is time to get down to business and find out a more relevant question whether it makes sense to buy Chevrolet Aveo. So on it? Yes, it was very simple that this car has already begun to do in Kaliningrad on a car car. So far, they are cunning in GM, assuring that they do not plan to reduce the price on Aveo, since it is balanced and adequate. However, there is an opinion that when AVEO will begin to do in fairly large quantities, it will fit about 10-15%.

In the meantime, we have a car that costs from $ 11,150. Of course, this is a little, but there are many, because now there are foreign cars on the market (!) At $ 9 thousand (see the Renault Logan and Chevrolet Lanos tests). Of course, they are quite sloppy, but they cost their money (do not forget that Russian dozens are sold for about the same amount). Therefore, Chevrolet Aveo is not enough to be just a foreign car. He needs to prove his right to exist in our market.

Mom, when will I grow up?
Aveo is trying with all his might to convince that this is a large car (among its competitors such models as Hyundai Getz, Ford Fiesta, etc.). And, damn it, he succeeds. Outwardly, the car looks good at all! There is no playfulness in his design that is inherent in models of this size, but Chevrolet managed to make Aveo perceived by a very serious car, and not a sort of female sympapoul machine, which girls often dream of.

I also surprised the salon - there is enough space inside! It is simply amazing, but sitting at the wheel of Aveo there is no feeling that you are inside a small iron box. Of course, if you sit back, then the small dimensions of the car will make themselves felt, but an adult man will withstand one or even two hours there without any problems (and only if you keep it there longer, then the passenger can start scolding the driver, and even then not obscenities). Plus, the design of the insides is also quite an adult no worse than on modern machines of a higher class! And the plastic with which the insides are trimmed is not the cheapest it is hard, but in appearance it looks like soft. Yes, of course, when landing in the car, a storm of emotions does not occur, but, believe me, for a car of this price segment, the insides are very worthy! Well, it should be noted two more things with ergonomics Aveo have no problems, and the trunk is laid out in parts (it would seem that this has long become a standard, but on some cheap cars this service is still not given a hint of Renault Logan).

When driving with an average speed, Aveo copes very well with the holes specially run into them, and instead of breakdown of the suspension, you hear only very pleasant in such cases a deaf bucket somewhere from below, and a slight swaying of the body. Although we will not still managed to hide the suspension several times, but for this we had to try.

In general, while it turns out that Aveo is a good car. True, he has a frivolous volume: 1.2 liters. and 1.4 l. I will not try to try the first unit with a capacity of 72 hp. Did not work out. However, colleagues assured that a 1.2-liter motor was enough for driving around the city, although it should be more hard to promote it. As for the engine with a volume of 1.4 liters, which produces 95 hp, then it is just right for Aveo. In this case, the driver can accelerate without much tension, move in the stream and even overtake the tinted ninety-nine-nine on cast discs with ridiculous spoilers, the owners of which were usually very unhappy that someone did not humiliate them on the new BMW (for some reason with BMW kids-croats in such clown cars do not argue).

I would like to have more than 95 hp? In the case of Aveo, no. They are pleased to control up to a speed of about 120 km/h. Until this moment, the behavior of the car is predictable on the road. Moreover, on Aveo you can even fuck when passing turns (although much depends on the tires). However, it is worth it to accelerate properly, as Aveo is already beginning to nervous and annoying. Strong noises appear that press on the brain, and the car itself becomes poorly controlled and from time to time swims along the road. And the movement at high speed gives approximately the same amount of pleasure as the mocking stomping in the city traffic jam.

Why is the skin here?
Well, now about the most important price. It has already been said that the basic version of Aveo is sold for $ 11 150. I thought it was normal for a long time or not. For $ 11,150, Chevrolet sells a not quite naked car. Clothing, which is included in the basic package, consists of a pillow of safety, electric drives of the front glasses, a CD player (!) With four columns and all kinds of useful little things (for example, there is a tachometer, remote opening of the trunk and gas tank, etc.). True, it was angry that the simplest AVEO is not equipped with a hydraulic wrap (Gidrik + 14-inch wheels instead of 13-inch raised the price to $ 11,600). A car with a condee costs $ 12,400, and with a 1.4-liter engine, air conditioning, an amplifier, etc. $ 13,200. The tested car, as usual in such cases, turned out to be from steep the price was $ 14,800 (there was a conditioner, two pillows, pillows, Electric drive of glasses and mirrors, an audio system with 6 speakers and control on the steering wheel, leather steering wheel/lever KP, fog, etc.).

However, I would not take sophisticated Aveo. Almost $ 15 thousand. It is a bit too much for such a machine. But the next time I will advise you to pay attention to more budget versions (but so far you can’t buy only pay attention). After all, this car in modest trim levels is not much more expensive than the same Renault Logan with a similar equipment (about $ 500-700). But at the same time, the Frenchman has a cheaper salon, which is sometimes frankly annoying. True, do not forget that Logan is actually more Aveo.

P.S. In Russia, Aveo have already begun to do. And I want to hope that soon the price of this car will decrease. After all, if Aveo will cost, for example, $ 1 thousand in the same configuration than now, then he will have every chance of becoming one of the bestsellers of the Russian market. Although for this GM will need to take another step offering special lending schemes (Ford, Renault and Nissan have already been decided to take this step). And also create a simple complete set without electric drives, radio, etc., which would cost about $ 9 thousand and then people seeking an alternative to the Russian LADA, I will already advise not only to pay attention to this car, but recommend it to buy it.
