Compared to the Russian premiere of Cheri Bonus, a half-year ago, the instructors in Myachkovo were loyal and allowed to go along the highway without any speed restrictions. And this means that we had the opportunity to try out the Chinese car in modes close to the maximum. But first we will talk about the car. Recall that now in the editorial office on a long test there is a Cheri Bonus car, so sometimes we will draw some analogies with our experimental.

Chery Indis is a front -wheel drive hatchback with an increased road clearance and an apron made of black unpainted plastic along the perimeter of the body. The car is built on the compact nodes and units of the compact small -solcation of Chery Kimo, which, in turn, leads its own genealogy from the Chery QQ of the Chinese clone Daewoo Matiz. In Russia, this model will be available with one power unit with a gasoline 16-valve 1.3, developing 83 horsepower (the name of the Acteco SQR473F motor), which is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The maximum speed for a passport is 150 kilometers per hour, for some reason acceleration to hundreds is not yet reported. But it is known that for every hundred kilometers, a hatchback weighing 1175 kilograms spends 6.8 liters of gasoline in a mixed cycle.

The company deciphens the name Indis as the Independence + Individuality + Special \u003d Indis formula (Independence + individuality + feature \u003d indis). Chery positions its model as a B-class crossover for young people, independent and easy to climb. That is, who love to travel, so a whole collection of tourist accessories, accessible to Russian consumers, will be released specifically for the indicator.

The design of the indicator, but in general, the machine turned out to be funny reminiscent of compactwalls sold in the domestic market of Japan. It is commendable that Indis, like Bonus, is an independent development of the company, and not a copy of the model of a well -known brand.

At first glance, the interior of the car looks neat, but there is no sensation. Especially after a detailed acquaintance: the plastic from which the interior details are made is stiff, but its aroma, as in the bonus, is not as intrusive as other Chinese cars.

I will say right away to men behind the wheel of this car, the path is ordered. With a meter of eighty meters, I had to push the driver's chair back until it stops back, but it still could not be comfortable to sit down. The indis is one of the few compact cars where you are located at the back more comfortable than the front. At least, judging from the point of view of the driver. I myself got down to myself, but if someone more slender and miniature sits in front, then the gallery will be quite spacious. With the adjustment for the size and class of the car.

A pleasure on the Chinese is not the most pleasant. Even at the start, I managed to stall three times, and my colleagues even more. It seems that on our car, the clutch drive was not adjusted to the hook too sharply, it was worth only a little weaken the force on the pedal. This was especially prevented when driving on a swing - more than half of the test participants could not climb up the first attempt. But clutch is only half the problem. The second lies in the too weak motor.

Interior


The interior looks pretty. The combination of devices is located in the middle of the front panel. The climate installation unit with vertical sliders is similar to the one installed in Peugeot 107 or Citroen C1.


Indis was clearly designed under the average Chinese, and not under Russian Ivan: tall riders will be difficult to find the optimal landing, and the steering column is regulated only in the angle of inclination.


Officially, Chery Indis is declared as a four -seater car, but there are three seat belts in the rear sofa salon, and the central passenger is content only with an archaic two -point belt belt.

The maximum torque of this engine in 122 nm develops only at 3800 rpm. On the bottom, the motor catastrophically lacks thrust, so even on a flat surface it is useless to move on one clutch without pogazovka. Acceleration at the car is so -so. We have to constantly drive the tachometer arrow to the right sector to the accompaniment of the roaring motor and shuddering from the vibrations of the body. It does not add enthusiasm or gear shifting with a plain lever.

But we will make a discount that the indications before the test drive have not passed the run, as our experience shows, the dynamic qualities of Cher brand machines improve with an increase in the run. The test bonus, for example, began to respond to gas more lively and accelerate only after three thousand kilometers passed.

On the highway in Myachkovo, I specifically moved along the wrong trajectory and not as they taught at sports driving courses: I was driving with mistakes, crumbling steep turns, did not reduce the gas in front of the turn to understand how the car would behave in emergency situations. The biggest trouble, like our bonus, is frightening rolls in corners. The soft Chinese rubber of Champiro 128 GT Radial 185/65 R15 does not add confidence. Instead of turning, the indis on the glued sidewalls begins to slip out the turn. About the sensitivity and feedback of the steering, we are silent to demand from such a machine outstanding results would be strange. But the feed does not overtake the nose of the car, although thanks for that.

The track also had to perform a moose rearrangement, which Indis coped with, although the steering wheel had to be energetically twisting on large corners. However, the cones were smashed too widely, so the corridor turned out to be huge for this exercise. It seems that with a shorter rearrangement, the results would be much more interesting.

But the main advantage of the indicator chassis is the omnivorous of its suspension on a bad road. At least, in a small area with artificial bumps and irregularities, the off -road baby confidently spanked with his wheels, not very disturbing the passengers with shaking and blows.

As usual, we have two main questions for any Chinese car: what about safety and reliability?

According to the official representatives of Chery, Indis passed crash tests according to the Euro NCAP system at the factory in China. However, the company did not specify the points and stars that received the car. By the way, on the C-NCAP website, and this is the only more or less authoritative organization in the Celestial Empire, conducting tests, data on this model are absent. The official press release only says that the car body is made using high-strength steel, it also has programmed deformation zones, horizontal bars in the doors to protect against side clashes and a bumper, designed taking into account the safety of pedestrians. Plus, indis is equipped with two airbags and front seat belts with pre -liability.

According to the leadership of the Russian representative office of Chery, before starting sales, INDIS successfully passed tests in our country, during which the car covered about 50 thousand kilometers with unstable quality. The test report was sent to the factory in China, where subsequently appropriate adjustments were submitted. As you know, one of the difficulties associated with the operation of Chinese cars in Russia is a lack of spare parts for dealers. However, the Chery representative assured that there are no problems with this guarantor of stability is a centralized warehouse with components in Domodedovo near Moscow. The dealer network itself is currently developing in the country at the moment there are 87 dealers.

P.S. Hatchbacks of increased patency and off -road styling in the price range from 300 to 400 thousand rubles do not exist in principle, therefore, in this case, we selected an alternative according to very conditional signs.
