After a two-day test drive BMW Z4, during which all the testers heroically traveled with a folded roof, their face acquired a crimson hue. Only one thing saved: it looked like all colleagues who flew to Spain for uncompromising tests of a new Bavarian car. The BMW concern, unlike many competitors, still stores long -standing traditions of creating relatives. The first cars of this type appeared even before the Second World War. Surprisingly, the latest Z4 has quite a lot in common with those first -born. And this is despite the fact that designers, era, even millennia have changed. But traditions are traditions. Where without them!
The new car, equipped with a hard folding roof, replaces Z4 Roadster and Z4 Coupe. The novelty is endowed with a long hood, large wheel arches and short overhangs. Thanks to Julian Blazi, the exterior Z4 resembles a saucer, which is confirmed by the flat front, low shoulder line and wide feed. The most memorable elements are the hood coming on the wings, large nostrils of the radiator grill, side gills and the contour roof. The most important element of the back of innovative lighting technology, striking in its originality and uninvited style.
Nadia Arnaut, who was responsible for the interior decoration, considered it correct to expand the dashboard to the driver, and the entire central console. Indeed, why does the passenger all these arrows, dials and scales? His business is enjoying Solz and the wind, from time to time crying out on particularly steep turns. If anything, it is easy to make excuses: sorry, on my previous family I had a handbrake here. Many body details have become aluminum, which significantly facilitates the weight of the structure. A two -part roof equipped with an electro -hydraulic drive is made of winged metal. For folding and laying out the top occupying 20 seconds, two different buttons located in front of the automatic transmission lever are responsible.
The transformation process, if you observe it from the side, is truly fascinating. When we decided to remove the top, standing at the traffic light of the city of Valencia, there was a funny episode. The button was pressed too late, and the treacherous traffic light instead of red became green. At this time, the trunk lid was just opening to skip both sections inside. Imagine that, despite the presence of side machines, we left the first. Everyone else remained standing on the stop line, trying to realize what they saw. Of the shortcomings, two points can be noted, one of which is easy to fix. There is no alarm in Z4 indicating the completion of the folding or laying out the roof. The second minus can be manipulated by the position of the roof only standing still.
You should not talk about the running qualities of Z4 for a long time. Like all predecessors, Rogster has excellent controllability, which can be considered an international standard without stretching. We will only say that the car has three movement options: Normal (the most comfortable), Sport and Sport+. In addition, maneuverability can be increased thanks to the optional running M with electronically regulated shock absorbers. When activated, a 10 -mm decrease in the clearance occurs, as a result of which Rogster reacts even more accurately to the steering turns. This system works so quickly that after the pothole passion of the front wheels, the rigidity of the rear shock absorber is adjusted to the desired conditions to contact the rear wheels with unevenness.

Our opinion
In addition to aggressive, memorable appearance, which the Rogster BMW Z4 owes two fragile women, the car is good and from a technical point of view. It is not just good, it is magnificent, and the splendor consists of dynamics, controllability, economy and comfort. An equally important component is a 100 % buzz received by a person from controlling this wild stallion.
