What will be the new seven?, For a long time, those who want to purchase a fresh and very prestigious limousine puzzled for a long time. The excitement fueled the memories of the previous generation of the BMW 7th series, the appearance of which made a lot of noise. So, the X pierced the hour, and struck in Moscow on Red Square, where the world premiere of the prestigious model took place. If, when managing the new seven, an attempt is made to change the lane without turning on the turn signal, the seat begins to vibrate, warning of the displacement. This is done so that the driver does not fall asleep at the wheel.
In the new generation of the BMW 7th series, Bavarian engineers used two completely new technologies. The first is related to the speed mode. The established radar reads among the entire abundance of signs those that indicate the speed, and this information is displayed on the dashboard. The second is an improved night vision system. Even in the previous generation there were infrared cameras, allowing you to go in complete darkness. Now they signal about the person who goes along the road. This is achieved thanks to the heat detector.
As for handling, here BMW, as always, deserves the highest praise. Things are no worse with dynamics. At first, three engines will be offered to choose from the buyer: two gasoline and one diesel. All of them are equipped with turbocharged. The weakest in the line is a gasoline 4-liter V-shaped engine with a capacity of 326 hp. The next 5 -fraud V8 produces 407 hp. The same unit is installed on the X6 crossover. A three -liter diesel develops 245 hp. The most powerful 12-cynic motor will appear a little later.
To control such crazy power, the Dynamic Drive Control system makes it possible to very accurately configure the chassis to the required driving manner. There are four modes: Comfort, Normal, Sport and Sport+. After choosing one of them, the operating mode of the whole complex changes. A different stiffness of shock absorbers becomes, stabilization is adjusted. In Sport+ the car willingly slides in corners. Among other things, the productivity of the hydraulic wrap will also change. In comfortable mode, the steering wheel is light and has more revolutions than, for example, in Sport mode. The accelerator pedal also changes its sensitivity. And 6 -speed the machine switches the transmission faster. The new transmission settings system in kikdown is capable of crossing four steps at once, which makes acceleration as intense as possible. Having tested each mode, we can conclude: the seven is good not only for passengers.
Working with leveling
BMW designers performed literally jewelry work, having worked out the design so that at first it seems that nothing happened to the car. In fact, this is a completely different car. You can judge even by changing sizes. The new BMW seven has become lower by 110 mm. The width remained almost the same, but the length increased by 30 mm. It seems not that much, but due to this it was possible to increase the wheelbase by 80 mm, and in the version of Long by 140 mm.
