They are now more powerful, the limousines themselves are more dynamic, and for those who bought 745LI yesterday, today you will have to choose at least 750LI. There is no return road. Because it is BMW.
At first, I arrogantly decided that this illumination is on my opinion. The turnstiles of payment for the fare along the E15 road stood a dozen and a half police vehicles with flashing lights turned on. Of course, they did not wait for me, who was driving 200 km/h for the empty, in honor of the weekend, the highway from aestropone to Marbella. Whatever they say there, but five years ago, few BMW seven were put in a row with the S-class. To defeat this stereotype, an explosion was needed, and it happened. Four years ago, the appearance of the new seven simply shone the audience, although the segment of representative limousines has always been considered the most conservative in terms of design. There was a lot of disputes about the IDRive system, to communicate with which many did not have enough IQ. Finally, the price that was made deliberately more Mercedes to emphasize: our car is better, even though Mercedes-Benz is considered the most expensive brand in the world. Now that the desired is achieved, and the passions have subsided, you can compromise and even take a step back in something.
Take the same exterior of the car. Phlegmatic headlights with touching orange edge are now in the past. The optics of the head light are exclusively white, and the shape of the block-far does not repeat the lines of the five-san and other slanting new products of the BMW, but rather resembles the headlights of the previous five in the body of E39. The radiator grille also changed its shape, it crashes deeper into the bumper, as if reminding us that more powerful power units had more powerful seven under the hood. The hood was raised 20 mm to the windshield, so that the profile of the machine became more wedge -shaped, which was again characteristic of the seven of the last century. Another new element is a horizontal light line stretching along the thresholds.
The other has become food. It would seem that, more recently, at a static presentation in Munich, Christopher Bangle waved a glass of champagne and assured us that the tall trunk line was inevitable if we want to leave more air over the heads of the rear passengers, look at Volvo S80 ... It was, of course, strong argument. Today, the stem feeds no longer resemble a sandwich and looks wider due to a chrome lining on the trunk lid, witty into white strips on the rear lights. Under the bumper - a diffuser of a new configuration. The lower part of the bumper is, as it were, cut at the edges - the rear wheels are better visible. Not only did the rear track at the new car become 14 mm wider, on the rear axles of test cars stood wide, 275/40 R19, rubber. On the front - only 245/45 R19. We include four new colors in the appearance in appearance, in which the body can be painted, among which there is now Deep Green, which allows to merge with the green.
In the interior of innovations are not so noticeable, but they are. If you understand wood varieties, you will surely notice that the American walnut replaced the black cherry. The buttons for controlling light and air conditioning now have chrome rims, and the IDRive controller has increased in diameter and received a leather spitting on top so as not to st the user's palm. In the IDRive system itself, the interface has changed somewhat, and two new music buttons appeared on the central console to control the banal reasons not to rummage in the menu: Mode - to switch from one musical carrier to another, and AM/FM, the meaning of which is hardly worth it.
The BMW 750LI, which was issued to me in Spain, of course, was equipped with a sports bag. From now on, the buyer can choose either a standard suspension, or Adaptive Drive, or the same Sport Package. In addition to the Dynamic Drive, which reduces the cranes of the body - more than half of the seeds are ordered with a long base and are used as mobile offices - the package involves a 20 mm in front and 10 mm from behind, more rigid springs and other shock absorbers. From visible differences The sports packet will pay attention to the new three -spoke steering wheel. It is really more convenient to control him on a serpentine, although in terms of design an ordinary steering wheel with four horizontal knitting needles looks more organic in this salon.
It is believed that those who use the BMW 745LI today will be crossed on the BMW 750LI. In addition to the innovations above, the owner will receive at his disposal extra 34 hp. A long -backed limousine accelerates to hundreds for three tenths of a second faster. Only you can hardly feel this - the rush so smooth in the car. The designers of the Bavarian company took care of traveling from behind-now all the seven have a two-stage stop signal, but did not think that the absolute absence of a sense of speed could serve the unimportant service to the noticeable driver. Per 100 km/h, if you do not look at the window, the complete feeling that the car is still in place. And when you go into a gentle turn on Motorve, I can’t even believe that the speedometer arrow sticks to 200 km/h. However, our roads are not a couple of Spanish, they will probably remind of themselves. And the wide back rubber, coupled with increased up to 490NM at 3400 rpm, will also be forced to not yawn. In Marbella, where on a circular motion from a fair amount of sand was spilled on the asphalt, my car was used, despite the fact that all the target stability systems were included.
Of course, it is a little sorry that the BMW 745LI, which are many on our roads, now kind of like an old car. On the other hand, the Los Bandidos restaurant in Marbel did not at all become worse after the institution with the same name, interior and menu opened in Moscow.
