It was, like in an old joke: I don’t know who is in the back seat, but his driver is the editor -in -chief of the auto -investigation. However, we changed places, but the front passenger seat was invariably free: it is stupid not to use VIP-laying if it is free. Yes, for the sake of her, the body of the seven was lengthened by 140 mm. And they own a limousine at all in order to twist the steering wheel, but in order not to be distracted from business during the trip, or to relax - in the full sense of the word.

Personally, in the back seat of the BMW 750LI, I felt great pleasure - I, in fact, are not often brought with royal comfort. And here - a magnificent chair with a full set of electrical adjustments, and also with heating, ventilation and massage. He settled on it at a mile, pressed one button - adjusted the height and the degree of inclination of the headrest, pressed it to another - pushed back the front seat forward, releasing even more legs for legs, touched the third with his finger - raised the curtain on the side window. A vain city with noise and cold remains behind her, inside is warm, quiet and comfortable. And it seems that it doesn’t matter - the car rushes quickly, or pushes in traffic jams, you can relax, use the telephone pipe to which it is easy to connect your mobile through the Bluetooth system, or do other things. For example, I often preferred to watch news releases on TV. At hand, on the same wide armrest, a round controller of the Idrive system, before the eyes of the monitor on a flexible bar. The rear passenger commands the entertainment center, simply not paying attention to the driver, whose task is to deliver you to the destination, and not watch the TV. Therefore, by the way, the front monitor in the central console, when the TV included on the course, does not give an image, but the inscription: for security purposes, viewing television programs is available only with a complete stop. This does not concern you.
 
Too hot news you can drink with a cool drink, taking it from a small refrigerator behind the central armrest. The glasses hold well in niches specially designated for them. That, the main thing is that the driver is experienced and avoid excessive jerks. Well, in this regard, during a long test drive, each of us could be calm. In addition, such a car is respected on the roads (and rightly, random people in the limousines do not drive), which saves the driver from unnecessary trouble. Well, the smoothness of the course is beyond praise, only classic, rear -wheel drive cars can provide this.

And the driver is not bored
 
And he is not boring because by managing the BMW 750LI, you enjoy. There is at the disposal of a person behind the wheel, it seems, everything that a modern representative of a representative class can offer. It’s unnecessary to say that everything that can move is equipped with servo drives. But the main thing is a 5 -liter V8 - responsive, ready for any feats, and also not suffering from excessive appetite. For all his agility and abilities, for example, to disperse a two -ton limousine to a speed of 100 km/h in just six seconds, he consumed no more than 16.7 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers of mileage. In the conditions of Moscow - a real trifle, I will report to you, reader.
 
I can’t help but say at least a few words and about the excellent automatic transmission settings. Even with intensive acceleration of transmission, they will cross the smoothly, but quickly. At the same time, the machine easily adapts to the driving style: it is only necessary to start a couple of times a couple of times, as it will go to the next step a little later or even twist the motor to the maximum revolutions in each gear - for all driver's will. And what a pleasant sound fills the salon - solid, with sports notes! The reaction to the accelerator is fast and clear. As a result, we have repeatedly noticed a flashing yellow bulb on the instrument panel, which signaled the operation of the branded stabilization system. But what is nice, and the DSC in this car works somehow smoothly, correctly, not allowing itself, for example, to sharply reduce the supply of gas and, thereby, provide the body of the body.
 
The stability of the BMW 750LI at high speeds can envy almost any car. At the same time, the speed in the apartment is practically not felt. Unless slightly shocks at the joints of our asphalt if the pendants are transferred to sports regime. To do this, go to the IDRive menu and select the appropriate item. By the way, it was this regime that we constantly used - maybe because it did not rock the back? Naturally, in full accordance with the dynamic potential, brakes are configured - slowing can be smooth or monstrous, but always, on any coating, effective. For this, the car is equipped with all modern systems: the distribution of brake forces and Brake Assist, as well as ABS and CBC (braking system in corners).
 
A little about expenses
 
Of course, the BMW 7th series is not the most affordable car, especially in an elongated version. Prices begin at 82,900 euros for the 730LI version. The car we tested will cost 104,900, and the flagship of the lineup, BMW 760LI, costs 144,900 euros. The equipment, of course, corresponds to the level of the limousine.
 
As for the service, for the seven there is no clear schedule for passing that. The on -board computer will notify the driver of the need to visit the service center. Oil replacement, for example, will cost 20 euros plus the cost of consumables. The oil filter costs 790 rubles, fuel - 3,700, air, they are required two - 1270 for each. Front brake pads with a wear sensor - 13,940 rubles. I would say this: the cost of operating the BMW 7th series is comparable to the price of a car, nothing more.
