Audi Q7 is probably the most atypical car from the entire line of Ingolstadt models of all time. The Lords of the Rings had never previously released SUVs, and Q7 did not go far from the usual sedans and station wagons. The main difference is the seven -seater salon and adjustable using air suspension in a wide range of road clearance. There are no reduced series of transmission, nor any off-road options, just a large all-wheel drive station wagon equipped with a perfectly proven system of the QUATTRO all-wheel drive.
The appearance is rather a crossover than an SUV, it is difficult to call harmonious, but complete recognition is obvious. The front of the car is very expressive and rapid, perhaps it is even better than on the younger Allroad, but at the elaboration of the back of the body the inspiration clearly left the designers, and the feed came out heavy and awkward: there is no grace, no dynamism, no aesthetics as it happened, and so, as it turned out. It turned out. But the interior of the flesh from the flesh of the Audi, the quality of materials and comfort is beyond praise, everything is verified, logically and extremely convenient. And, pleasant, the complete continuity of style, landing and layout for decades has been traced. A person who drove on old cars of the early eighties will feel at home in Q7 at home, where everything is familiar and inhabited.
The MMI multimedia system deserves separate praise, to this day, probably the most logical and friendly from itself.
At first glance, the rear passengers are plentiful, however, when I sit down with myself with a height of 190 cm, the reserve at the knee level does not exceed centimeter. In addition, the landing is not the most convenient. Only children will be able to climb into the third row, and even then very thin. And it is impossible to push after landing ahead of the lower chair without pinching the lower extremities.

In the Audi movement, it is impossible to confuse with one of the competitors: excellent exchange rate stability and a thin balance between the density of the suspension and the smoothness of the stroke. And only the sophisticated will be able to notice a light vertical buildup that is not characteristic of the brand. Apparently, this phenomenon is a light curtsy towards the New World market, on which Q7 is oriented. By the way, our test was visited by a diesel engine of 3.0 TDI, which, although not the fastest in the line of engines, gives a heavy SUV with good dynamics and pleases with a modest appetite.
Audi is almost indifferent to the quality of the Audi asphalt, and if something penetrates the salon, then only thanks to low-profile tires stretched on luxurious 20-inch wheels.
The luggage compartment with a folded third row of seats is very large, but in a six-seater version, the luggage will not fit at all no more than in the average golf-class hatchback.
By the way, the Q7 is the only Audi model in which the stabilization system does not completely turn off, which eloquently speaks of the course on safety.
