Porsche Boxster (Porsche Baster) is a mid-tier six-cylinder roadster, updated in 2008. The first generation of the model appeared in the Porsche line in 1996 with a new 6-cylinder fluid refrigerant. The first concept car model was shown in the North American International Auto Show of 1993, and possessed the stylistic features of the legendary Porsche 550 Spyder. In 1999, the Boxter S version appeared, which had improved characteristics. The second generation Boxter debuted in 2004, becoming the first update from the beginning of production.
