In the late 70s, OldSmobile Cutlass (Oldsmobile Catlass) was the most popular passenger car in the United States. Although for the first time such a name was used for the sports version of the F-85, with time it received various models for different markets. The latest version of Cutlass is a richly equipped inexpensive sedan, replacing Ciera in 1997, aimed at a segment of medium-sized cars, on which the Honda, Toyota and Ford Cultass dominate is the Chevy Malibu cooler, and although both cars are available in two versions, OldSmobile has much better basic equipment.
