Nissan Altima (Nissan Altima) is a medium-sized sedan and a coupe from Nissan, which are brand bestseller. The first generation of the model debuted in 1992, changing the Stanza (Stanza) model on the conveyor. Fully new second generation appeared in 1997. The longest third generation was published in 2001, and in 2004 the appearance and interior was updated. In 2006, the premiere of a new, fourth generation, distinguished by a new appearance and built on the new Nissan class D platform with increased rigidity and upgraded suspension. In 2007, the line replenished the coupe version. Nissan Altima Hybrid (Nissan Altima Hybrid) is a five-piece medium-sized sedan with the same design, convenience and equipment as a gasoline version, but characterized by improved efficiency and cleaner exhaust. In September 2002, Nissan and Toyota signed a basic agreement, according to which Toyota supplies Nissan components of hybrid installations (presenter, inverter, battery and control unit), allowing the company to produce up to 100,000 hybrids for 5 years. In exchange, Nissan supplies gasoline engines and electric motors, which makes Altima Hybrid behavior different from the behavior of Toyota Prius.
