Maserati Spyder (Maserati Spider) is a high-speed double convertible from Maserati, which denoted the return of the Italian automaker to the market in 2002. Fiat acquired Maserati in 1993, and in 1997, ownership and management rights were fully switched to Ferrari. The company's production base was fully updated, and in 1998 a 3200 GT model was presented, which served as the basis for Spyder.
