Sedan Jaguar XJ (Jaguar XJ) is a brand bestseller. This model is the heir to the classic S-Type of the late 50s - early 60s, which received the continuation at the end of 1995. The company's absorption from Ford contributed to improving the quality and reliability of products - for buyers - and the acquisition of experience in the production and cost calculation - for low-level specialists. In 1998, the name of the XJ6 was changed to the XJ8, reflecting the replacement of the previous row "six" to the new AJ-V8 engine from the XK8 compartment and convertible. The XJ series is a Jaguar flagship, and is a luxurious representative sedan. In 2009, the last generation of the model appeared with a more elegant design, which became even more luxurious, as befits this Jaguar. In the XJ aluminum body, created with the use of aerospace technologies, which provides excellent characteristics, sharp handling and fuel savings, as well as increased strength, comfort and safety. A lightweight aluminum structure is easier than steel by 300 pounds (136 kg), and 50% is made from recycling, providing non-excess for the segment of luxury cars stability. XJ sedans are descendants of the classic S-Type of the end of the 50s - early 60s, or rather, the first sedan of the 1968 series. The company's absorption from Ford in 1990 brought improving the quality and reliability of products. In 2008, Jaguar passed into the hands of Indian Tata Motors.
