Isuzu Vehicross's concept car (ISUZU Echikross) made his debut at the 1993 Tokyo Auto Show. A small SUV made a lot of noise in the press, and in 1994 a limited series came to the Japanese market. The car was a community of the two-door version of Trooper, and was equipped with a Torque-On-Demand torque-on-demand (tod) torque distribution system. Vehicross appeared in most in the spring of 1999, and, according to the manufacturer, almost all the quota was bought in advance.
