Although the first Honda Prelude (Honda Prelude), debuting in 1979, made a rather strange impression, the garde duckling turned into a wonderful swan with the advent of the second generation in 1983. Sales of the model reached their peak in the mid-80s, and from the moment they were steadily declined, partly due to the fact that some buyers repelled the design of the first generation, but more due to the total decline in the sports compartment market - many consumers began to tend to sedans and SUVs. The latest generation of Prelude, published in 1997, focuses on a sports aspect, has an increased power and various technologies that improve the characteristics of technologies, such as the VTEC gas distribution phase system and the Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) torque distribution system.
