The first Chevrolet pickups appeared in 1918, and their own body began to produce in 1924. In 1941, a version with a leaf metal body appeared, and in 1958 - with a drive for all wheels. Full-sized pickup from Chevrolet held the second line in the ranking of America's best-selling cars for 15 years in a row. The present version of the C / K 2500 appeared in 1998, and was intended to fulfill more complex works, such as towing heavy trailers or transportation of heavy cargo. The maximum full mass reached 4500 kg, the maximum trailer weight was 6350 kg. 3500 was made in parallel with Silverado until 2000, when it was replaced by the "heavy" version of the latter.
